Give your child the skills, confidence, and safety they need in and around the water through caring, customized ISR lessons with ISR Beaumont.
ISR Beaumont is in Beaumont, Texas, is led by Mrs. Megan Pounders, a passionate educator, mother, and community leader dedicated to making a lasting difference in the lives of children and families. As a certified Infant Swimming Resource (ISR) instructor, Megan combines her deep love for teaching with her mission to equip every child with the confidence and skills needed to be safe around water. Known throughout Southeast Texas for her patient, encouraging, and child-centered approach, she provides lessons that are both life-saving and life-changing—helping little ones develop independence, strength, and trust in the water.
Beyond the pool, Megan is deeply rooted in her community. She serves as a Kindergarten teacher at All Saints Episcopal School, the President of the Beaumont Farmers Market, and an active member of the Junior League of Beaumont, where she leads initiatives supporting local families and small businesses. Her teaching philosophy extends far beyond swimming—it’s about empowering children to believe in themselves, nurturing families through education and safety, and giving back to the community that she loves. With a heart for service and a lifelong passion for helping others, ISR Beaumont proves her belief that every child deserves the skills and confidence to stay safe and shine bright—both in and out of the water.
What makes this program unique is the combination of safety, trust, and personalized instruction. Every lesson is tailored to each child’s age, ability, and comfort level, allowing them to progress at their own pace while developing strength, coordination, and confidence. Parents can rest assured knowing that their children are learning life-saving skills in a caring, supportive setting designed to foster both safety and love for the water.
Each ISR lesson is custom-tailored to your child, teaching them the self rescue swimming skills that are developmentally appropriate through one-on-one lessons.
